Funny how sex is an irresistible human urge when a man rapes a woman but when a woman gets pregnant and wants an abortion she should have been smarter and thought twice before having sex if she didn’t want a child
My reblog speed tho -
I’m ok. I’m gonna be ok. I’m gonna live a beautiful life and I’ll get to know beautiful people. I will create things of beauty and be surrounded by flowers. And I’ll love myself, and I’ll be soft, I’ll be kind. And I’ll be ok.

hi andrea!! I’ve experienced some pretty bad burnout in the past and the biggest thing I learned is to practice self care! this goes beyond taking a nice bath - although, if that works for you, do it! as a rule, I like to make sure I do something for my mind, body, and soul at least once a week. and remember to rest when you need to!
self care ideas for your mind, body, and soul:
- MIND: read a book for fun, declutter your space, change your routine, turn your cellphone off for the weekend and unplug, study something that interests you (outside of studies), remember all the compliments people have given you, fix a small annoyance (like a lightbulb that’s gone out), mute or block toxic people on social media, meditate
- BODY: drink more water, stretch, go for a walk, get a full night of sleep, eat something healthy, dance in the shower, do a body scan and release tension in places you didn’t know you were holding, look at yourself naked and give yourself a compliment (seriously! it sounds silly but helps!), sit in the sun for a few minutes, wear your favorite outfit
- SOUL: vent to a friend or counselor, help someone else, treat yourself, remind yourself of why you’re passionate about the thing that is stressing you out (i.e. remember your dream job when school is stressful), ask for help, check in with your emotions (I have to do this a LOT), talk to yourself as if you were your best friend, find five beautiful things in your day
